🇺🇸/🇬🇧 HOW TO GET YOUR OWN PRINTED COPY
I print myself my most appreciated work on museum grade paper using pigment inks to ensure the longest possible lasting of the visual properties of the print, rating over one hundred years. Of course, this longevity is based on the premise of the print not being exposed to sunlight. In such case, select UV blocking glazing at the time of framing for appropriate protection of the art piece.
The selection of paper is a relevant part of the creative process and each photograph is paired with a specific type of paper based on the theme and singularities of that particular image.
Currently I am working with three types of paper, all from the prestigious brand CANSON®, the first one with a smooth finish, the last two textured, and all of them premium quality papers, with deep rich blacks and bright pure whites:
- Platine Fibre Rag 310 g/m²
- ARCHES® 88 310 g/m²
- ARCHES® BFK Rives Pure White 310 g/m²
All the papers used are absent of optical brightening agents so the luminosity of the print is not altered when using UV blocking glazing.
All the prints are hand signed and accompanied with a signed and sealed Certifícate of Authenticity (CoA), with a unique number. This number is printed on an holographic tamper-detection sticker attached to the back of the print. The Certificate also includes the number of that print and the total number of prints for that edition, data which are also handwritten on the front of the print. With the exception of the smallest sizes, all the prints also include on the front the title of the work, handwritten as well.
All photos are delivered unframed and unmatted. Sizes larger than 16 in are shipped inside particularly thick tubes for extra protection.
Shipment cost is included in the price for Spain and Europe (USA and other destinations pending undergoing cost consultation). 🇪🇸 CÓMO OBTENER TU PROPIA COPIA IMPRESA
Yo mismo imprimo mi trabajo más apreciado en papel de calidad museo, utilizando tintas de pigmentos, para garantizar la mayor duración posible de las propiedades visuales de la impresión, valorada en más de cien años. Por supuesto, esta longevidad se basa en la premisa de que la obra no esté expuesta a la luz solar. En tal caso, opte por un acristalamiento que bloquee los rayos UV cuando enmarque esta obra de arte para protegerla adecuadamente.
La selección del papel es una parte relevante del proceso creativo y cada fotografía se combina con un tipo de papel específico en función de la temática y singularidades de esa imagen concreta.
Actualmente estoy trabajando con tres tipos de papel, todos de la prestigiosa marca CANSON®, el primero con acabado liso, los dos últimos texturizados, y todos ellos papeles de primera calidad, con negros profundos y ricos, y blancos puros y brillantes:
- Platine Fibre Rag 310 g/m²
- ARCHES® 88 310 g/m²
- ARCHES® BFK Rives Pure White 310 g/m²
Ninguno de los papeles empleados contiene agentes abrillantadores ópticos, por lo que la luminosidad de la impresión no se ve alterada cuando en el enmarcado se instala un vidrio/acrílico que bloquee los rayos UV.
Todas las obras están firmadas a mano y acompañadas de un Certificado de Autenticidad (Certificate of Authenticity - CoA) firmado y sellado, con un número único. Este número está impreso en una etiqueta holográfica con detección de manipulación, adherida a la parte posterior de la obra. El Certificado también incluye el número de esa impresión y el número total de impresiones para esa edición, datos que también aparecen escritos a mano en el frente de la obra. Con la excepción de los tamaños más pequeños, todas las impresiones incluyen además en el anverso el título de la obra, también escrito a mano.
El coste de envío está incluido en el precio para España y Europa (EEUU y otros destinos pendientes de consultar costes). Cuando se ponga en contacto conmigo para realizar un pedido, le informaré del tiempo previsto de envío y entrega, y los confirmaré tras la cumplimentación del pago.
