I am a photographer with an ever-growing passion for this extraordinary and nearly limitless art form. My primary focus lies in landscape photography, especially natural landscapes and seascapes, although I occasionally explore cityscapes.

My journey into photography began several years ago, sparked by my love for mountaineering. The desire to capture and preserve the breathtaking beauty of those places, and the magical light that often graces them, led me to photography. My aim has always been to transport others to these remarkable locations and share the magic of those fleeting moments.

Having been born and raised in Santander, on the northern coast of Spain—where the Cantabrian Sea meets the foothills of the Cantabrian Mountains—it’s only natural that much of my work focuses on coastal features and mountain peaks. My love for nature also draws me to other non-mountainous natural parks. Additionally, my background in civil engineering influences my interest in infrastructure and unique architectural subjects.

For me, photography is deeply personal, meaningful, and fulfilling, with a touch of magic. It allows me to create something beautiful and tangible from the intangible sensations and emotions I experience, freezing those moments in time to relive them endlessly. Beyond the excitement of planning, capturing, and editing photographs to reveal their full potential, I take immense pride and joy in printing my finest work on museum-grade paper with pigment inks, achieving the highest quality and durability.

While I embrace the latest technology at every step of the process, I personally handle each action, from planning to printing, making me not just an artist but also an artisan. Photography, to me, is a magnificent craft that lets me savor my vision and efforts in tangible form, whether on a wall or in a book. It allows me to relive precious memories while offering viewers a chance to experience the beauty, the light, the atmosphere, and even the feeling of a place.

Soy un fotógrafo con una pasión cada vez mayor por este arte extraordinario y casi ilimitado. Mi enfoque principal está en la fotografía de paisajes, especialmente los paisajes naturales y marinos, aunque también exploro ocasionalmente paisajes urbanos.

Mi viaje en la fotografía comenzó hace varios años, impulsado por mi amor por el montañismo. El deseo de capturar y preservar la impresionante belleza de esos lugares, y la luz mágica que a menudo los ilumina, me llevó a la fotografía. Mi objetivo siempre ha sido transportar a otras personas a esos lugares únicos y compartir la magia de esos momentos efímeros.

Habiendo nacido y crecido en Santander, en la costa norte de España, donde el mar Cantábrico se encuentra con las estribaciones de los Picos de Europa, es natural que gran parte de mi trabajo se centre en las costas y cumbres montañosas. Mi amor por la naturaleza también me lleva a otros parques naturales, no necesariamente montañosos. Además, mi formación en ingeniería civil influye en mi interés por las infraestructuras y las arquitecturas singulares.

Para mí, la fotografía es algo profundamente personal, significativo y gratificante, con un toque de magia. Me permite crear algo bello y tangible a partir de las sensaciones y emociones inmateriales que experimento, congelando esos momentos en el tiempo para revivirlos una y otra vez. Más allá de la emoción de planificar, capturar y editar fotografías para revelar todo su potencial, siento un inmenso orgullo y satisfacción al imprimir mis mejores trabajos en papel de calidad museística con tintas pigmentadas, logrando la máxima calidad y durabilidad.

Aunque aprovecho las últimas tecnologías en cada paso del proceso, me encargo personalmente de cada acción, desde la planificación hasta la impresión, lo que me convierte no solo en un artista, sino también en un artesano. Para mí, la fotografía es un oficio magnífico que me permite saborear mi visión y mi trabajo en una forma tangible, ya sea en una pared o en un libro. Me permite revivir recuerdos preciosos mientras ofrezco a los espectadores la oportunidad de experimentar la belleza, la luz, la atmósfera, e incluso la sensación de un lugar.
